Who we are

VitaMenda ("we", "us") is an independent team based in Sweden. This privacy policy covers the vitamenda.com website and the upcoming VitaMenda iOS app. Contact: hello@vitamenda.com.

What we collect on the website

• Waitlist data — when you join the waitlist, we store the name and email address you provide. We use it only to contact you about VitaMenda's launch and product updates.
• Server logs — basic technical data (IP address, user agent, request path) kept short-term for security and debugging.
• No third-party advertising cookies. No retargeting pixels.

What the app will collect

VitaMenda's iOS app, when launched, will process meal photos and nutrient data on your behalf. We will publish a fuller app-specific privacy policy before launch. Core commitments:

• Your meal photos and nutrient history belong to you. You can export and delete them.
• We will not sell your personal data. Ever.
• We will be explicit about any third-party processors (image recognition, hosting, analytics) used to run the service.

Legal basis (GDPR)

For EU/EEA users we process personal data on the following legal bases: consent (waitlist signup), legitimate interest (security and basic analytics), and contract (delivering the product once you sign up). You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you by emailing hello@vitamenda.com. EU users also have the right to lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.

Children

VitaMenda is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from them.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced on this page; the date at the top reflects the last update.
