These Terms govern your use of the VitaMenda website and the VitaMenda iOS app (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Use of the Service

You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract source data.
• Use the Service to build a competing product.
• Use the Service to provide medical advice to third parties or present its output as a clinical assessment.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service.

Educational, not medical

VitaMenda provides educational information about nutrition and food. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. See our medical disclaimer for the full version.

Accuracy

Nutrient estimates, glycemic balance scores, and recommendations are best-effort approximations based on the photos and information you provide. They will not always be correct. Read our accuracy page for honest error ranges.

Your content

You retain ownership of the meal photos and personal data you provide. You grant VitaMenda a limited license to process that content for the sole purpose of operating the Service for you.

Account and waitlist

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. We may suspend or terminate access for misuse, abuse, or violation of these Terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VitaMenda will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Changes

We may update these Terms over time. Material changes will be announced on this page; the date at the top reflects the last update. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance.
